Job Description
Assist in the planning, coordination, review, development, integration, and execution of acquisition logistics and lifecycle sustainment strategies. The tasking includes, but is not limited to the following IPS elements and tasks:
a) Technical Data
b) Maintenance Planning & Management
c) Supply Support
d) Support Equipment
e) Provide assistance in technical oversight for the shipbuilder's execution of logistics CDRL development. Determine shipbuilder compliance with applicable NSC contract requirements. Document and report discrepancies to the assigned Task Manager and/or COR for documentation in the contract history file
f) Provide logistics Configuration Data Management (CDM) and Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) support to PROGC by evaluating the configuration statuses of production assets, ensuring applicable logistics documentation, and technical and design specifications are consistent with the as-built configuration, and approved baselines.
g) Assist PROGC with the Cutter material load-out evolution, which includes: interfacing with USCG and Shipbuilder warehouse personnel; attending load-out meetings; assisting with material inventories; recording and cataloging material transfer documents.
h) Participate in Government review processes to track and report on configuration change management developments including Diminished Manufacturing Sources (DMS), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Waterfront Changes (WFC), and Minor Change Notices (MCN).
i) Establish and maintain effective communication and liaison with various process groups; particularly, PROGC IPT, and the Shipbuilder's Logistics and Warehouse personnel.
j) Identify problem areas, recommend solutions, and assist in resolving problems associated with lifecycle logistics processes.
k) Support logistics conferences, ILS Management Team Meetings (ILSMT), Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM), and production milestones as assigned. n) Participate in the development of data submittals in response to assigned TAM/COR tasking.
o) Identify problem areas, recommend solutions, and assist in resolving problems associated with lifecycle logistics products and processes.
p) Provide production and post-delivery logistics support to USCG stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two years progressive experience in acquisition or life cycle logistics.
a) Minimum of four years' experience with Naval Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical systems. Experience obtained from U.S. Navy or USCG military service is acceptable.
b) Minimum of one year experience in the use, development, review, and application of technical data processes.
c) Minimum of one year experience in the application of logistics configuration management
d) Qualified candidate(s) shall possess a general knowledge of maintenance task development processes
e) Qualified candidate(s) shall general knowledge of Supply Support products and processes
