A day in the life of...


ACR seeks a highly organized, detail‐oriented, and motivated Senior Meetings Manager to join the Meetings Department on a temporary full‐time basis.  The Senior Meeting Manager will organize and manage projects in support of overall departmental objectives. Projects will include managing all aspects of meeting planning and supporting educational activities for our member societies. 


Responsibilities:



  • Leads and manages meeting/exhibit logistics and program planning for an annual conference (May 2022)

  • Execution of face-to-face and online meetings

  • Oversees RFP, site selection and contract negotiation

  • Conducts meeting and program analyses to ensure compliance with the applicable accrediting body

Requirements:



  • Must hold CMP (or comparable) certification

  • 7+ years’ experience in Meeting Management (preferably in a medical association)

  • Advanced level of computer skills to include the Microsoft Office suite

  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Success in executing large meetings

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • An understanding of ACCME Policies and Procedures preferred

  • Some domestic travel required
