Job Description:

Alberici Constructors, Inc., a leading firm in the construction industry with annual revenues exceeding $1 billion and ranked the 30th largest General Contractor in the U.S., is seeking an entry-level Estimator I to join our growing St. Louis-based estimating department.

Position Overview:

The Estimator I is responsible for assisting the Senior Estimator in preparing individual estimates and for total preparation of estimates when assigned by the Estimating Director.  The Estimator I is accountable for accurate and timely quantity surveys.  The Estimator I may also be responsible for preliminary pricing when assigned by the Senior Estimator or Estimating Director.  The Estimator I must make every effort to satisfy the needs of the Client with respect to each estimate.  They must develop and maintain strong relationships with key Suppliers and Subcontractors in order to ensure we receive competitive and complete pricing for all estimates.  The Estimator I is accountable for utilizing proper procedures and available tools in the preparation of an estimate.  The Estimator I possesses the ability to facilitate and nurture relationships with Owners and Subcontractors. 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related technical field; field construction management experience is preferred but not required. This is typically an entry-level position.
