At SKF - We are now strengthening our global Cybersecurity team with a resource in the Americas region which is focused around the security on the business and application side.

Cybersecurity Engineer
Key responsibilities:
- Coach and actively help to implement security solutions for our development teams in Dallas/Americas (main focus is on Cloud/Apps but Sensors/Gateways are also included in the delivered systems).
- Identify security vulnerabilities in our solutions and offer remediation guidance.
- Actively contribute and drive development and implementation of global security solutions and practices as part of the global team and in cooperation with stakeholders across SKF.
- To configure and drive implementation of security solutions to reduce risk to an acceptable level in alignment with standards (e.g. ISO27001, GDPR).
- Support the business with regional customization of solutions ensuring security.
- Support pre-sales discussions with customers primarily in Americas region around cybersecurity.
Knowledge and experience required:
- 5+ years of experience within the Information Security field and Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science/IT engineering
- Knowledge and experience in cloud security, platforms and services (preferably AWS)
- Knowledge and experience of working with different standards and legislations like ISO 27001, GDPR or other privacy regulations
- Strong documentation experience within the cybersecurity area
- Demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools e.g. Azure DevOps
- Experience in software development in at least one programming language such as Java or Python
- Excellent communication skills, experienced in building relationships and communicating technical challenges to non-technical and senior stakeholders
- Leadership capabilities with ability to engage with others
- Fluent in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese language a merit
- Open to travel if needed for specific activities

The REP offer moves away from a traditional transactional approach where bearings are purchased on price and instead focuses on rotating equipment performance and cost efficiency model.
In the Digital Transformation Innovation organization, we are today about 100 people, with the task to deliver solutions that support our strategy and business needs. This newly formed organization will play a crucial part in developing the digital landscape for SKF together with other departments who are executing different parts of the decided solutions. This is an open, fun and innovative organization with the aim to drive change in SKF, where we support each other and work together to secure our organization's and SKF's progress.
We are now strengthening our global Cybersecurity team supporting the Product development organization with a resource in the Americas region. This role is focused around the security around our solutions and applications and making sure security is considered when developing our solutions. Additional Information:
- Location: Remote work to start.
- Local office in USA (Dallas, Lansdale PA or Plymouth MI).
- You will be part of a global team with Cybersecurity engineers and System architects focusing on SKF's customer facing industrial applications world-wide. The position will require frequent collaboration and networking via Teams, telephone, and e-mail.
- Occasional travelling may be necessary.
- You will report to the Manager Architecture & Cybersecurity in Digital Transformation Innovation.
