Mailing Services in Tipton and Wilton, Iowa – What We Do…

Our one-stop-shop mailing services help our clients simplify the process of preparing, printing and mailing communications, leveraging economies of scale and deep postal discounts without sacrificing quality or speed.

 We produce and mail 535 million pieces annually using seamless programs that handle the printing, mailing of promotions, acknowledgements, bills, renewals and more. 

 What You Will Do…        

As a Janitor/Building Custodian

Performs facility janitorial duties including cleaning restrooms, break areas, meeting rooms, building entrances and exterior grounds.

Starting Base Wage is $13.50 p/h (10% shift pay if 2nd shift)

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:


  • Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its clients' proprietary information.

  • Cleans employee break areas, meeting rooms and other office areas according to established procedures.

  • Cleans and stocks all restrooms according to established procedures.

  • Gathers and removes trash throughout the facility and disposes of it according to established procedures.

  • Reports any repairs and/or maintenance needed.

  • Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its client’s proprietary information and promotes a professional working relationship with clients as well as other departments within CDS Global.

  • Adheres to attendance policies; Reports to workstation as directed by management.

  • Follows all CDS Global ergonomic and safety policies.

  • Sweeps, vacuums and/or buffs floors as directed.

  • Cleans outside grounds, including but not limited to parking lots and picnic areas.

  • Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

The above duties may be performed anywhere from 0-100% of the workday.  Employee needs to be able to work in designated department/area and participate, if applicable, in CDS Global's ergonomic stretching/strengthening exercise program.

Job Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • Janitorial experience helpful.

  • Basic verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to react to change and remain productive.

Position requires hearing with or without an aide.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

(Continuous = 67-100% of workday, Frequent = 34-66% of workday, Occasional = 6-33% of workday, Rare = 1-5% of workday)

Working Conditions:  Inside: 90% Outside: 10%

Frequent: Chemical Hazard

Occasional: Exposure to Dust

Rare: Electrical Hazards, Elevated Surfaces > 3’, Exposure to Weather, Mechanical Hazards, Noise Decibel Rating 85dB 8h TWA.
