What success looks like in this role:

We are looking for a forward-thinking, creative, passionate colleague to join Innovation Ecosystem and Emerging Technology. In this role you will be part of an exciting team at Unisys chartered with nurturing innovative ideas, maturing them into solutions that deliver value for our clients. Reporting to the Innovation and Emerging Technology leader, the successful candidate has direct responsibility for the development, operations and improvement of specific functions within the Innovation Ecosystem and cultivates a collaborative network of associates in the Unisys Business Units and corporate functions.

In particular, the candidate is responsible for:

• Creating, sustaining and continuously improving all key processes and functions associated with the Innovation Engagement Framework, as well as tracking, analytics and reporting on these activities.


• The innovation lifecycle (ideation, prioritization, validation and transfer to business) and the stakeholder engagement model.


• The implementation of Design Thinking into our innovation methodology.


• Development and implementation of an innovation reward and recognition program.


• Innovation Ecosystem Platform management and support which underpins the processes.


• Ownership of the Innovation Ecosystem and Emerging Technology Communication Plan as well as promoting the group's media presence.


• Liaising for external initiatives with alliances, incubators and other external parties.


• Collaborating with members of various groups within Unisys to lead or in support of innovation initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

• B.S. Degree in Engineering/Computer Science, Business, IT, or similar with 8-15 years of experience


• Business background, desired


• Experience with Design Thinking, desired; commitment to learning Design Thinking methodology, required


• Proven project and program management skills


• Excellent communication skills (all forms) using multiple platforms/media


• Experience building new programs, desirable


• Demonstrated capability to deliver results as either a lead or team member


• Skilled in working multiple tasks concurrently driving them to successful completion


• Experience with Agile/Kanban development methodologies a plus
