FARO is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist - 3D Metrology - remote who can perform duties to provide inside sales support for assigned geographic region, and generate product demonstrations and quotations, while working within the limits of standard or accepted practices.

You have:
Minimum of 3 years' experience working Business to Business (B2B) sales
Experience with CRM databases. SalesForce.com experience strongly preferred.
Ability to self-prospect for leads and potential customers
Experience in cold calling and following a cadence to turn a lead into a qualified prospect
Demonstrated proven effectiveness in working in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to overcome sales barriers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Superior time management skills and ability to multi-task
Demonstrated ability to attain and exceed quotas on a regular basis
Ability to establish excellent working rapport with outside sales reps, other team members and customers
Experience with these tools a plus: LinkedIN Nav, D&B Hoovers, Outlook, SAP, Salesforce Lightning
How you will make a difference @ FARO:
This is a B2B hunter role which requires a high velocity of outbound prospecting via cold calls and emails. You will be responsible for the following:
Lead generation to ensure that assigned territories have sufficient leads and opportunities in order to generate demos and revenue.
Mastering the identification of relevant prospects in the 3D Metrology market and positioning FARO as the resource to solve their problems.
Maintaining active engagement with leads to increase customer interest in our offerings through creative, consultative communications at a prescribed cadence
Fostering a collaborative relationship with minimum 3 outside Account Managers who are tasked with presenting demonstrations, negotiating and closing the sale
Setting qualified demonstrations via Outlook calendar invites to prospect, Account Manager and Application Specialist where appropriate
Conducting daily activities including pre-call research and planning, a high volume of calls, and follow-up with previous contacts (nurturing leads)
Effectively planning and scheduling travel for your outside Account Managers to maximize territory results
Maintaining current and accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities in Salesforce.com
Maintaining a strong understanding of FARO products and how they fit customer needs
Preparing sales quotations based on specifications provided by Account Managers
Receiving POs and working with Sales Support team to process
Physical Requirements:
Some lifting of lightweight materials. Occasional bending and stooping, pushing, pulling, climbing and standing, reaching, upper body and arm rotation. Frequent sitting and occasional use of hazardous materials.
