This role will support the recently announced GXO part of the organization, which represents the intended spinoff of our global contract logistics business. As the Manager, Consolidations and Reporting, you'll oversee intercompany reconciliation among all the entities and prepare summary schedules for the intercompany transactions between parent company and subsidiaries. What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Oversee the Company's internal financial reporting process, including the preparation of consolidated monthly and quarterly financial statements, including the P&L, balance sheet and statement of cash flows

  • Manage cashflow movement / rollforward schedules, and the consolidated cashflow and free cash flow statements

  • Support the Company's external financial reporting process including Form 10-K and 10-Q

  • Responsible for ensuring that all elimination entries are properly documented and recorded

  • Responsible for optimizing financial reporting systems (including Oracle, HFM and other financial systems)

  • Direct the metadata management and rule modifications within Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), including user testing for proposed system changes

  • Governance oversight for the company's financial chart of accounts

  • Lead various accounting and reporting process improvement initiatives and system enhancements to improve efficiency

  • Partner with finance and accounting peers across the organization to develop a best-in-class financial analytics environment

  • Spearhead an initiative to provide consolidated financial analytics in a more efficient timeline

  • Partner with the larger accounting teams to ensure that new accounting pronouncements are properly reflected into the Company's financial statements

  • Assist with the internal and external stakeholder review of the Company's financial reporting deliverables

  • Support the annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors

  • Complete and maintain process documentation to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance for areas of responsibility

  • Assist on special projects requiring analytical skills and knowledge of systems / processes such as acquisitions and divestitures

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 5 years of related experience

It'd be great if you also have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
  • CPA
