Position Description/Overview:


As a Senior Product Manager, you'll be joining Press Ganey's newest business unit - the consumerism division. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment where you will work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and bring to market our products. In particular, you will be focusing on our reputation management and consumer analytics platform, as well as working with the team to support some of our secondary tools and offerings.


Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Gain a deep understanding of the market, competitive landscape, and client experiences. Represent the company by visiting and meeting with clients to solicit feedback on products and services.

  • Develop product strategy and roadmap by analyzing product performance, identifying and filling product gaps, and generating new ideas that grow market share, improve client experience, and drive growth. Generate product buy-in with key stakeholders. Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.

  • Translate product strategy into product requirements and prototypes. Design, scope, and prioritize requirements based on business and client impact.

  • Work closely with the design team to make sure that user experience is integrated from day one in order to make our products accessible, easy-to-use, and attractive. Work closely with Information Technology to ensure the product is brought to market according to business requirements and client expectations.

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop positioning and promotional plans that are aligned with product strategy.

  • Drive product launches by working closely with marketing, educational services, talent development, and other key stakeholders. Provide cross-functional project management oversight for product development initiatives, including pilot projects, product enhancements, and new product development.

  • Assist client facing associates with requests, questions, and presentations.




Qualifications:



  • Experience with statistical analysis and/or a background in programming is very helpful.

  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies, including managing all aspects of a successful product through its lifecycle.

  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Superior problem solving ability, preferably within a customer environment.

  • Superior project management, time management and organizational skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to multiple priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively to ensure adequate resources are brought to bear to meet client needs from throughout the organization.

  • 4+ years of product management experience, preferably within healthcare.

  • Experience soliciting user and industry feedback: interviewing customers and non-customers, leading focus groups for product design/development.

  • Experience with business cases, market trends/analysis, competition analysis, positioning, business modeling, and product roadmap development.

  • Experience with customer/client management, and managing the tension between customers' wants and needs.

  • Knowledgeable about user experience, both with user interfaces and user journeys

  • A passion for getting to the root of user problems, and solving them creatively while still balancing the needs of the business


Minimum Education:



  • Education/training equivalent of 4-year college program (i.e. Bachelor's Degree)
