Finance Administrator

Location: Ridgeland, Mississippi

Garver is seeking a professional, motivated individual to join our Finance Team in our Ridgeland, Mississippi office. This position will offer an array of responsibilities supporting the corporate Finance Team.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions

* Providing accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the AP function in accordance with records retention policies and procedures

* Providing financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled by receiving payments, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner

* Working directly with engineers and project managers to create project budgets and invoices

* Maintaining accurate records within ERP for project budgets and invoices

* Provide financial reporting as needed

* Reconciliation of corporate credit card statements for corporate and other Garver offices as needed

* Cash receipt entry

* Special projects

* Providing assistance to other Finance Team members as requested

* Coordinate with the Office Support Team for additional tasks as needed

* All other related duties as assigned

Requirements

* 2+ years of experience in general bookkeeping, billing, and/or office management

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

The successful candidate will have the ability to work on projects independently and collaboratively with others, a service-minded approach, and confidence in decision-making, and proven experience in effective time-management.
