Here's where you come in:


We are currently seeking an Operations Director to join our team as a member of our growing Dawson's Venture division. In this role, you will assist Dawson Venture leadership with the planning and delivering of high priority projects. You will serve as the "point person" for specific initiative to advance the mission of Dawson Ventures.


You're great at:



  • Collaborate with Dawson Ventures business leaders to help prepare and execute business formation plans / programs / initiatives to help validate market need, value proposition, and market focus to help drive market acceptance and scaling efforts.

  • Utilize Change Management, Project Management and Business Process Management disciplines for successful, on-budget and on-time initiative delivery.

  • Analyze proposed projects, quantify impact as projected on business, and prepare business cases.

  • Coordinate interactions across various stakeholders, to include cross functional teams and Senior Management.

  • Manage process enhancements and varied special projects to execute solutions to attain key performance improvement or reduce risk.

  • Execute effectively against project timelines.

  • Identify and resolve crossover barriers to ensure successful completion of special projects.

  • Take raw ideas, hypotheses/scenarios and shape them into comprehensive deployment plans to implement effectively.

  • Conduct research on different strategic initiatives as needed.

  • Prepare and present business plans along with overall strategy for every initiative within scope of job.


What we are looking for from you:



  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization; adept at influencing audiences and organizations required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent work experience required.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint required.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate required.
