These cross-functional activities include strategic and financial fit, safety, health, and environmental needs, regulatory, intellectual property, supply chain, manufacturing process and quality for product and package. The senior emerging product manager acts as conductor for new products he/she manages and which are in the process of being deployed to Air Liquide's customers. He/she will work closely with the sales team, R&D organization, Product Development and Engineering organizations, Air Liquide affiliates and third-party suppliers/partners in order to develop the emerging products and associated markets, and to maximize product value and life cycle.</span></p>\n<p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to :</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shepherds new products through the Air Liquide Stage Gate Process.</li>\n<li>Develops strategy and business case for new product investment.</li>\n<li>Ensures right to practice and coordinates intellectual property activities as applicable.</li>\n<li>Coordinates all aspects of industrialization and commercialization of new products under his/her ownership.</li>\n<li>Leads cross-functional teams (Product development, engineering, ESH, operations, finance, supply chain and external suppliers) to ensure flawless execution of scale-up, manufacturing, and delivery of product to customers.</li>\n<li>Ensures robust response by the organization to any quality or other issue reported by customers leading task forces when<span></span><span class=\"WLJ2\">necessary.</span></li>\n<li>Drives internal understanding of product specific chemistry aspects such as impurity sources, decomposition characteristics, stabilization, etc...working with chemists in the Product Development Laboratory (PDL) Guarantees/validates the feasibility from a product development aspect.</li>\n<li>Drives metrology development and validation with PDL lead chemist and quality team for the final product as well as critical raw materials. Validates suppliers QC systems, together with ALAM site quality manager.</li>\n<li>Establishes capacity roadmaps, and validates them with ALAM stakeholders (PDL, Product Development & Engineering and operations).</li>\n<li>Identifies and evaluates suppliers with ALAM PDL team and strategic sourcing team and provides recommendations. Actively participates in supplier selection and technical aspects of supplier management.</li>\n<li>Interfaces with AL affiliates, CVD/ALD equipment manufacturers and customers when applicable, potentially to drive product introduction and/or quality excursion root cause analysis and corrections.</li>\n<li>Proactively develops improvements in the product commercialization process, quality and consistency. Lead cross functional teams (R&D, engineering, operations, EHS) to drive design for quality and consistency in a timely manner. Upon implementation, ensures compliance with customers Management of Change (MOC) commitments.</li>\n<li>Guides creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for those products together with ALAM Product Development Lab (PDL). Validates SOPs from product management organization. Signs-off the transfer to operations together with the ALAM site manager.</li>\n<li>Develops cost structure for different molecules and ensures profitability by continuous improvements</li>\n</ul></br><strong>Required Qualifications</strong><ul>\n<li>Graduate degree in an engineering discipline with 3+ years experience in related field or Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience in related</li>\n<li>Language: English (fluent) oral and written</li>\n<li>2+ years experience in working on electronic materials, semiconductor processes or semiconductor devices with understanding of semiconductor industry culture.</li>\n<li>Understanding of analytical methods and experience in statistics and data processing for quality management. Understanding of basic statistics and six sigma principles preferred.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated project management skills and excellent organization skills.</li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills - able to report precisely and effectively to cross functional teams, multicultural teams and customers, remotely and face to face. Capable of effectively communicating with clear problem statement and reporting of actions.
