As the Manager, Operations Process Engineering, you will be responsible for becoming the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for operations and participating and leading transformational change within our Americas and Asia Supply Chain organization. What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Define, document and implement process best practices (People, Process, Systems) for one or more of the warehouse processes such as inbound, inventory control, outbound, automation and data/reporting

  • Lead and participate on enterprise/site level Kaizen projects to drive improvement/corrective action

  • Support solutions development during new business pursuits and actively participate in efforts to define the concept of operations post-contract award

  • Support detailed process definition and systems user acceptance testing from test case definition through execution/defect resolution

  • Support new site go-live activities during launch and lead the effort to achieve targeted rates

  • Review, generate, document and implement processes that meet or exceed customer expectations and deliver the expected efficiencies for profitable operations

  • Measure work performance; compare results to objectives and take corrective actions

  • Generate and review reports, research and resolve discrepancies

  • Proactively communicate with customers and executives regarding project status

  • Work closely with operations leaders to meet financial targets

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


  • 5 years of operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field or equivalent related work or military experience

  • Lean, Six Sigma and continuous process improvement experience with demonstrated results using DMAIC, PDCA or similar methodology

  • Strong problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills

  • Willingness to travel extensively as needed

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field

  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment

  • Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification from a well-known industry provider

  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing safety procedures across all departments

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
