What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Create and conduct an annual continuing education (ACE) process that focuses on building a learning culture across the organization by positioning required training as a cultural and values-driven expectation

  • Create and promote trainings as ways to self-improve skills in relation to an Individual Development Plan

  • Work closely with the Talent and Performance Management team to fulfill necessary organizational development needs through the ACE program

  • Lead the creation and/or maintenance of mandatory training materials

  • Work with stakeholders in Technology, Compliance and Ethics, Safety, Human Resources, Finance, Audit and Legal to identify requirements and necessary audiences

  • Conduct analyses and design solutions to meet the needs of a distributed, wired and non-wired workforce

  • Work with the Learning Management Systems team as well as content developers to develop accessible products

  • Develop and curate engaging learning materials that focus on knowledge transfer and engagement to a diverse audience across multiple regions

  • Collaborate with and lead support partners in evaluating vendors through RFI and RFP processes

  • Provide tracking and reporting of training completions to regions, HR and Business Units

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, Instructional Design or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 4 years of experience in a learning and development or training role

  • Experience with a Learning Management System such as Cornerstone

  • Experience with Articulate or a similar tool

  • Project Management experience

  • Experience negotiating with vendors

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Program Management experience

  • Strong MS Excel Skills

  • Experience in the Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain or similar industry

  • Experience working with stakeholders in Compliance, Technology, Finance, Human Resources, Safety, Legal and/or Audit functions

  • Advanced degree in Instructional Design
