Asst Director of Nursing/Restorative Nurse at Friendship Senior Options, NFP in Geneva, Illinois

Job Description:

Friendship Senior Options is currently hiring for a full time PM Shift Assistant Director of Nursing/Restorative Nurse at its GreenFields Geneva location. 

This position supports the DON in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the overall operation of Nursing Services within the regulatory guidelines and Briarwood policies.   In addition, this position is responsible for working with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate the restorative nursing program, and must have the clinical ability to make accurate assessments of current residents.  This position is responsible for performing restorative nursing procedures including but not limited to: planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating restorative care services, programs, and activities; interpreting restorative care policies and procedures; participating in the development and implementation of resident assessments (MDS) and care plans as they relate to restorative care; and working closely with various departments to ensure that specific recommendations are carried out on a consistent basis. The ADON will also be responsible for oversight of facility in absence of DON, and will ensure that clinical oversight is given on the PM shift in both the Briarwood Healthcare Center and the Willows Assisted Living.

Experience

• Clinical experience in the care of residents with Alzheimer's preferred.


• Two years Long Term Care supervisory experience.
