The Modular Documentation and Training Specialist will create documentation, training, and support services for MiTek's Modular Building Solutions team. The Modular Documentation and Training Specialist is responsible for training and supporting MiTek's modular strategy and detailed plan for volumetric modular construction. This position is a remote position.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Create best practices for documentation, training and support
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure documentation, training and support is aligned with other functional areas and is achieving MBS overall goals and objectives

  • Develop a standardized process for documenting all processes and procedures
  • Develop standardized method to distribute documentation to all stakeholders
  • Develop LMS platform to train internal team members and customers on all aspects of the modular business
  • Develop training content which will be delivered as self-paced asynchronous training
  • Develop technical training content that will be incorporated into Company's software offering
  • Manage the ongoing training of internal team members and customers
  • Update and maintain all training materials
  • Develop an internal help desk to support the modular business
  • Develop key reporting metrics to monitor performance


Qualified Candidates Will Possess the Following:

  • 4 year degree in education, adult learning or technical writing preferred
  • 5+ years of experience building and leading documentation, training and support teams within the construction or manufacturing industries
  • Strong experience in developing systems and processes
