Supports the storeroom elements of the RPM Program including: inventory cycle counts, work request submission, inventory database management, storeroom management, picking/delivering parts from work orders, parts ordering, maintaining MP2 vendor listings, training of plant associates on Storeroom aspects of RPM, and various other MP2/RPM functions as assigned.
Responsible for material/parts ordering including but not limited to; obtaining vendor quotes/parts information, entering Oracle purchase requisitions, contacting the vendors to check on delivery status of ordered parts, and for coordinating the delivery of equipment and parts ordered.
Responsible for material/parts receiving including but not limited to; receiving inbound shipments through plant CMMS and Oracle systems and handling of UPS outbound shipments for the plant.
Responsible for material/parts stocking and delivery including but not limited to; processing restock parts, restocking storeroom shelves, utilizing barcode system, picking parts for work orders, and parts delivery/returns.
Must be capable of working with vendors in a professional manner in the performance of assigned duties, including ensuring that they are following all plant safety procedures.
Must be willing to learn the equipment, operation, maintenance activities in all areas of the plant.
Must be certified in forklift operations and be able to operate narrow aisle forklift
Must be a reliable, self-motivated, and possess a proven ability to work independently. Must uphold and practice safety in all aspects of their daily work life.
Must be able to meet physical essential requirements for position.
Must possess general administrative skills. Must be computer literate and proficiency in common programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Knowledge of MP2 and Oracle is a plus.
Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and discipline in performing administrative duties to ensure deadlines are met or exceeded.
Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of the organization. Must be able to work in a diverse work environment with multiple competing priorities. Must demonstrate the ability to manage conflict and maintain proactive relationships with internal and external customers.
Must collaborate with coworkers, peers and management to complete any and all work assignments in a safe, professional and efficient manner.
