Director, Data & Analytics at Westfield in Century City, California

Job Description:

The Director, Data & Analytics US will manage a team that participates in the definition of the strategy, coordination, and implementation for the US region. The Director, Data & Analytics will work in close coordination with the Senior Director, Financial and Leasing Systems and collaborate with other IT team members and multiple business departments across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Data & analytics strategy

• Ensure strategic intelligence by understanding new tech trends and stakeholders needs


• Define the area of value creation in Data & analytics


• Lead the Technology Intelligence efforts alongside with other technical peers


• Liaise with Group functions to identify best scenario between global or local solutions

Data & analytics business support

• Define required data solutions & dashboards to support data driven decision for both employee and partners 


• Lead global and regional initiatives on design of business solutions


• Coordinate implementation of solutions with stakeholders & IT teams (business apps, digital, Group)

Development of solutions and project management

• Definition of data & analytics solutions’ specifications


• Lead product development with stakeholders and other IT teams


• Ensure adaptation of business solutions with current IT infrastructure


• Manage roadmap of project in particular planning and budget


• Agile project management

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of

• RDBMS systems, specifically Snowflake and/or Oracle


• Tableau & Business Object (Crystal Report)


• Google BigQuery

• Experience with SCRUM and Agile Methodology


• Experience with R development a big plus


• Experience with Talend / Mulesoft a big plus


• Experience with NoSQL Database a plus


• Experience with Google Analytics a plus

Background

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems or Accounting preferred


• 10+ years of experience in data areas with experience with Tableau Business Intelligence


• Experience in leading teams


• Knowledge on data architecture definition & set-up


• Strong knowledge of SQL, DW, relational databases & normalization


• Expertise in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics


• Developing methods for database design and validation reports


• Analyzing application and designing data modeling to collect data for centralized data warehouse


• Extracting data from databases and data warehouses for reporting and to facilitate sharing between multiple data systems
