We are looking for an Aircraft System Engineering Intern to learn and train to provide aircraft certification and systems engineering for Garmin’s avionic products in a team-oriented environment.
Learn to develop basic designs in technical areas such as aircraft certification documentation, aircraft wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, electrical, safety analysis, and avionics product requirements
Learn to develop incremental changes to aircraft certification and/or systems requirements for existing products
Learn to perform aircraft certification and systems design activities for products already in production
Completed course work in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronatical Science, Mechanical Engineerin or equivalent eduation and expereince
Excellent academics (composite GPA 3.0+)
Experience and/or training in written communication
Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5)
Experience and/or training that is aviation/aerospace related, such as pilot’s license, work on aircraft, or aerospace related classes
