The Director of Advising and Student Success will oversee all aspects of academic advising for undergraduate students in SHRS and will lead implementation of programs and services to support student success in undergraduate and graduate/professional programs. The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences encompasses 13 disciplines across all levels of undergraduate and graduate (professional, clinical, and research) study.
The incumbent will provide training and professional development for the staff advisors who are part of the Center and will collaborate with program faculty who will serve as mentors to students. They will work collaboratively and collegially with other academic units and service providers throughout the university and community.

Master's Degree in Counseling, Education, Social Work, Student Affairs, or a related field is strongly preferred. Candidates with a bachelor's degree and more than 7 years of directly related experience will be considered.
2-3 years of experience leading/managing a team preferred Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and related software is required. Knowledge of web-based tools including Qualtrics, PRISM, and PeopleSoft is strongly preferred. In addition, the incumbent must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to enable clear communication with external constituents, students, faculty and staff. The capability to understand and follow University policy and procedures. Membership in NACADA or related professional organization preferred.
