Senior Staff Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related business field. Two to four years' practical experience in an accounting office. Reconciles general ledger accounts and resolves discrepancies. Maintains general ledger and cost accounting systems, prepares required journal entries and monthly financial statements. Prepares financial and statistical information for the internal and external report. Responds to inquiries from hospital personnel and outside agencies. Responsible for the preparation of tax returns, cost reports, audits and budget as required.Ability to use a personal computer and spreadsheet applications. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to independently take initiative and exercise good judgment in decision-making. Ability to work efficiently and effectively under deadline pressures and to simultaneously handles multiple projects. Professional maturity that daily sets the tone in carrying out the responsibilities of the position. High degree of honesty, integrity and confidentiality.
