Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred, in accounting or business administration or related field preferred. Master's degree in hospital or business administration, finance or accounting preferred. Five years of management experience in the healthcare receivables field required, with a work record that demonstrates: in depth knowledge of hospital and physician access management processes. Experience with Lean and/or TQM concepts and tools. Advanced computer skills required. Employee must possess the knowledge to adapt to various types of computer software packages. Proficient in the use of a personal computer including spreadsheet analysis, presentation graphics and word processing. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization, patients, families and external individuals, groups and agencies. Ability to manage multiple priorities, simultaneously handle multiple projects and make appropriate decisions to assure completion of tasks on time. Professional maturity and demeanor that daily sets the tone in carrying out the responsibilities of the position and to represent the organization to internal and external constituents. High degree of honesty, integrity and confidentiality.

Minimum License Requirement: Certification by the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) as a Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) by the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management(AAHAM) or as a Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) within one year of assuming position.
