Job Description:

As part of the team that is responsible for developing, implementing, enhancing and maintaining Inmar’s Salesforce platform, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading predictable and flawless execution of the Salesforce.com Programs to include all Salesforce related projects, and initiatives working closely with all stakeholders to ensure on time delivery, revenue realization and satisfaction.

The Senior Salesforce Project Manager works alongside stakeholders, Sr. Salesforce Developer and Platform Manager drive business objectives primarily on the Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for tracking the project requirements, contributing to solution design, and program managing for our Salesforce team. This role emphasizes the importance of clear org-wide communication, roadmap vision, and a deep technical understanding of the business applications at Inmar. You will develop a full understanding of our salesforce technical stack allowing you to contribute to company-wide projects and ensure they are meeting the needs of all stakeholders.

Primary Accountabilities: 

Strategic (55%)


  • Provides early-stage programmatic leadership to define the program outcomes including driving stakeholder alignment


  • Work cross-functionally with the enterprise in mind for all projects related to Salesforce execution and technology stack


  • Proactively focus on user experience needs when delivering the platform vision


  • Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in fast-paced environment


  • Applies strong change and incident management practices


  • Assist with roadmap planning including financial focus


  • Create investment analysis models for all solutions ensuring return on investment is realized and tracked


  • Develops and maintains cost-benefit analysis for each Salesforce project


  • Engages in stakeholder management at program level (Operations and Steering Committee oversight)


  • Stay current with changes to the Salesforce platform and product offerings


Administrative (40%)


  • Develops and oversees metrics for all Salesforce projects


  • Ability to navigate and understand a broad group of perspectives and requirements from stakeholder teams and how they all must work together to deliver an end-to-end solution that meets the needs of the collective


  • Leading the program, in terms of quality, money, time, information and organization, monitoring progress and managing external resources and reporting to the Steering Committee the health of all projects


  • Expertly manages timely and succinct communications to leadership and across teams to ensure accountability 


  • Provides oversight of vendor management activities including service agreements, staff augmentation and technology contracts and timeline management


Leadership (5%)

  • Mentor junior staff

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelors’ degree in business or related field or work experience


  • 5+ years recent experience as a Technical Project Manager, Technical Program Manager, or Program Manager working in an application development organization building large-scale enterprise application systems


  • Minimum 3 years working with teams focused on implementing Salesforce in an enterprise environment


  • Superior written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with confidence, clarity, and focus. Able to convey concepts and considerations to non-technical and technical experts alike


  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across organizations, bridge gaps between teams, and successfully influence without authority.


  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of impact when changes occur to scope or timeline.


  • Salesforce Admin Certification (Preferred)


  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, with emphasis on Excel) or G-Suite


  • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred


Specific Technical Skills:


  • Expert understanding of Salesforce capabilities


  • Expert in all forms of project management methodologies - Agile and Waterfall
