This is a critical time for policing and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) is at the forefront, working to engage communities and promote leading policing practices. IACP is dedicated to enhancing the policing profession through new initiatives, advocacy, and member services that bring innovation, promising practices, and training to the field. The association is seeking individuals with the passion, energy, and commitment to dedicate their professional efforts towards moving the field of policing forward. The IACP seeks to hire a Project Manager II to broadly support IACP efforts, and specifically support the following grant-funded initiative:
The Community Trust Initiative (CTI) will develop and deliver a series of training curricula and tools for police leaders to support capacity building at the state, local, and tribal level to reduce crime and strengthen relationships between police and the communities they serve. These trainings and tools will be piloted in ten communities and will cover the varying needs of urban, suburban, rural, and tribal communities across the topics of officer performance, adaptive decision-making skills, civic involvement, and police-community relations for command-level police leaders.
