Job Description:

I. PURPOSE OF JOB:

Sight Sciences, Inc. is seeking an experienced and hands-on Credit & Collections Specialist to join our Accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full-cycle AR process and involved with the month-end close activities as well as GL reconciliations. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for collections of outstanding accounts receivable balances from the existing client base, resolving customer billing issues, and reducing accounts receivable delinquency. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to learn/understand revenue operations, communicate effectively, and be team oriented.

II. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for timely processing and sending of customer invoices (daily, weekly, and monthly).


• Ensure all receivables are collected promptly and applied to customer accounts accurately.


• Reconcile AR aging, research and resolve disputed delinquent account balances timely, and initiate collection activities.


• Perform monthly close tasks associated with AR, including assisting in preparation of monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and related analysis for close in accordance to U.S. GAAP.


• Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Customers, and other relevant business functions to promptly resolve issues related to incorrect billings and disputes.


• Identify opportunities to continuously improve, standardize, and streamline the company’s AR operations and collections process.


• Assist in developing new system integration and automation projects.


• Other ad hoc reporting and job duties may be assigned.


• Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures that comply with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485, and any other applicable domestic or international requirements.


• Maintain a professional and credible image with key physicians, distributors, consultants, customers, and co-workers.

III. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.

IV. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of Credit & Collections, Accounts Receivable in a fast pace/high-growth environment.


• Passionate about accounts receivable operations, problem solver, team player with a positive attitude.


• Strong analytical skills, superior attention to detail, appreciation for accuracy.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex scenarios and topics to teams and supervisors in clear, logical manner.


• Experience with HighRadius (HRC), Intacct, Sugar, intermediate Excel skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) preferred.
