Summer 2022 Cloud Systems Internship at Guardian in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Our 2022 Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving Fortune 250 global financial services company.  

You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our regional offices.

You have:

• Strong analytical and organization skills


• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a range of individuals (engineers, analysts, technology leaders, etc.)


• Initiative to engage with and creatively solution complex problems independently, with input and feedback from colleagues and managers

 

You will:

Partner with the Head of Cloud Systems to learn cloud and software delivery fundamentals and assist in providing recommendations for improved operational efficiencies

• Collaborate with leadership and cloud engineers to understand agile principles, cloud platforms and software delivery ecosystems

• Evaluate opportunities to measure our cloud operations team success


• Obtain an understanding of the platforms and technologies delivered by the cloud engineering team


• Build necessary models/reports to display current metrics and areas of improvement


• Understand Software Delivery pipelines and toolsets to support metrics

Eligibility:

Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered.  H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position.
