Sales Order Administrator IV The Sales Order Administrator is responsible for all areas related to sales order processing of compliant purchase orders, per the Sarbanes Oxley Process Narrative. This Sales Order Administrator will work cross functionally with multiple departments to carry out routine and non-routine order processing activities.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
Review incoming customer Purchase Order (PO) requests.
Responsible to match the PO to approved Quote from Salesforce to Oracle Order Management (OM) to comply with SOX controls.
Work with A10 Partners, Renewals and Deals Desk teams to ensure all POs are compliant and can be processed in a timely manner.
Responsible for processing orders in Oracle modules and ensuring support certifications and licenses are sent out via the automated programs (Oracle-GLM).
Work with the Shipping Team to ensure POs are shipped prior to or within the required dates.
Assist with corrections in OM and OKS, when an error is identified in the sales order process and necessary approvals have been obtained from Finance and Sales Ops.
If necessary, respond to A10 Customer contacts in a timely and efficient manner and always interact positively and professionally.
Identify process gaps and design solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Periodic weekend or evening work is expected for the month end close.
Experience, Education, Training, Traits:
Bachelor's degree or related experience
3+ years' experience in Order Administration/Customer Service role
Strong verbal and written communications skills are required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote)
Dependable, organized, detail-oriented and the ability to work under pressure
Familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance is a plus.
Experience in using salesforce.com and Oracle Apps are desired.
Preferred experience with global bookings.
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and smoothly integrate them into day-to-day responsibilities
Demonstrate ability to draw upon experience and limited information to come to logical conclusions and sound judgments
Ability to quickly adapt to changes resulting from a dynamic and growing business environment
