Position Summary

This individual is responsible for the flow of information in and out of the Control Desk area, to include communication by phone and intercom intra and inter departmentally, message handling, use of the ORSOS computer system for data retrieval and scheduling, maintaining statistics, and patient check in. This is an intermediate clerical position working as a team member in the management of surgical cases. Work situations are varied and can be highly stressful requiring and service-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.



Minimum Requirements

Two years secretarial experience in a hospital environment, OR preferred.
