Responsibilities

We currently have a great opportunity available for a Developer/Analyst - SAP. The primary SAP area of responsibility for this position will be materials management/inventory management and the add-on systems. The Developer/Analyst, SAP will participate in the process/requirement analysis, functional design, configuration, RICEFW development, documentation, testing, and deployment of solutions, dashboards and reports in one or more SAP areas to support the business needs of Sysmex America. The Developer/Analyst, SAP will coordinate solution delivery by working with the SAP managers, Analysts and business associates and identify optimal enhancements or best practices in SAP functionality. The Developer/Analyst, SAP will also participate in the maintenance, support, and continuous improvement for one or more SAP areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Work with business users and other assigned associates to gather and document business requirements, analyze, design, configure, develop, test, and deploy user friendly solutions (e.g., processes, reports, applications, etc.) for one or more SAP areas and add-on applications.
  1. In all development work, follow the Product Design & Development Process (PDDP).

  2. Work closely with the appropriate IS/IT teams to ensure compliance with all Sysmex policies, procedures and technical best practices.

  3. Perform analysis and solution delivery and create functional requirements as an input to application design/configuration for several SAP functional areas.

  4. Communicate work and project status as required.

  5. Work with users to develop efficient and optimal SAP best practices and solutions in multiple functional areas.

  6. Provide day-to-day support for issues that affect the daily operation of SAP and its interfaces; resolve such issues in a timely manner.

  7. Actively participate in cross training to develop a better understanding of the business, industry, databases and systems.

  8. Attend training as needed.

  9. Other duties as assigned.

Percentage of Travel - up to 10%

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or 5-10 years required experience in design and configuration in one or more SAP areas (e.g., SD, GTS, MM, WM, PM, QM, PP, FI, CO, HR) including experience in the Armed Forces. Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Computer Science or related field preferred.

  • Proven background in situational analysis and resolution of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, or Accounting support and issues in SAP

  • 2+ full life cycle SAP implementations preferred

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of analysts, business users, vendors and technical resources throughout the organization.

  • Technical experience in one or more SAP areas.* MM and IM are required* EWM, ShipERP, QM, PP, PM, MRP, LE, ABAP, EDI is a plus* S4HANA and Fiori/UI5 knowledge is preferred

  • Ability to work with limited supervision.

  • Solid work ethics and ability to use experience, judgment and skills to work effectively as both a member of a team and independently.
