Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Electrical:


Inspect, maintain and adjust electrical equipment such as but not limited to electrical wiring, conduit, panels, switch gear, switches, gauges, transducers, solenoids, gas dryers, actuators, motors, meters, frequency drives and controls for safe and proper operating condition.


Must have a strong working knowledge and be able to demonstrate ability to diagnose and repair electrical problems such as current overloads, ground faults, open circuits and faulty relay logic, also should be able to monitor, check and correct phase imbalances, current draw, low voltage power supply's, pressure transmitters, relay logic and programmable logic control operation.


Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment to restore proper operating condition specified in regulations and repair manuals.


Mechanical:


Inspect, maintain and adjust mechanical equipment such as but not limited to, compressors pumps, engines, intercoolers, after coolers, heat exchangers, piping, tubing, fittings, filters, traps, gas dryers, fasteners, valves and actuators for safe and proper operating condition.


Must have a strong working knowledge and be able to demonstrate the ability to diagnose and repair such mechanical problems as high and low pressure gas flow restrictions, interstage gas compressor temperatures and pressures, pressure regulator variance and should be have a strong understanding and be able to monitor, interpret, check and correct operational trends in reciprocating and screw type gas compressors.


Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment to restore proper operating condition specified in regulations and repair manuals.


General:


Make periodic inspections of fueling locations and equipment to determine proper and normal operating conditions. Check and record operational data such as fluid levels, temperatures and pressures, compare to trends and have the ability to make corrections as needed.


Detect and correct faulty and malfunctioning mechanical and electrical components, devices and equipment related to "Compressed Natural Gas" (CNG), "Liquefied Natural Gas" (LNG) and "Hydrogen" fueling equipment.


Clean and maintain fueling locations by: picking up trash, emptying trash cans and dumpsters, hand cleaning and polishing of fueling equipment, painting, canopy, lots, islands, and surrounding landscaping, in and outside of enclosures.


Update and document all activity, service orders, work performed and recommendation in our Field Service Automation (FSA) software. Must be thorough and comfortable working on computer and tablets.


Install, remove and modify fueling locations and equipment.


Maintain all fueling related equipment and structures in accordance with manufactures and


Clean Energy guide lines.


Drive to or between company sites to perform job responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.


Coverage at other stations in neighboring states may be required due to business needs.


Supervisory Responsibilities


This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience


High School Diploma (preferred) or equivalent plus a minimum of 4 years of related or equivalent combination of education and experience.



  • Must have basic Mechanical or Electrical basic / foundation knowledge

  • Must have basic computer knowledge, especially using service software


Language Skills


Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Mathematical Skills


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Reasoning Ability


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


Computer Skills


Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations


Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
