What you'll be challenged to do:

This Engineer 3 will be a member of our roadway group and will lead and assist in various tasks including plan preparation, quantity calculation, geometric design, drainage design, DOT, specifications, cost estimates and other related tasks. Microstation, InRoads / Open Roads, MS Office and other design software will be used, and all work will be in collaboration with other engineers, technicians, planners, and surveyors. This Engineer will also help mentor younger engineers and will be given the opportunity to develop into a project manager. Candidates with a background in preliminary engineering or development of detailed plans and specification are preferred; and must possess strong technical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment on multi-disciplinary projects.  

What you bring to our firm:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program


• Experience with MicroStation/InRoads; Open Roads Design.


• Experience with Microsoft Office Programs


• Familiarity with DOT plan preparation requirements for roadway projects.  Experience with CA Municipalities preferred.

What we’d prefer for you to bring to our firm:

• 4-8 years of design experience


• PE License


• Experience within the transportation industry
