Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time Days

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Assist patient in preparation for admission, transfer or discharge
• Attends department meetings, in-services and participates in department projects.
• Attends to patient's needs during transportation.
• Demonstrate organized approach to workload.
• Document any pertinent information; such as incident reports or reports of concern.
• Good communication skills.
• Facilitates effective communication between care givers when assisting a patient to and from the imaging department.
• Transport patients per set protocol of department and/or hospital.
• Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policies related to emergencies.
• Complies with JCAHO requirements related to their duties.
• Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• BLS

To assist the Nursing Units or Departments in the care and transportation of patients.
