Responsibilities

Coordinates the medical record copy process and assists the legal department with administrative functions, such as filing, faxing, word processing and correspondence.


  1. Coordinates and maintains the medical record copying process. This includes reviewing requests, obtaining the record from the community, reviewing the record for completeness, assessing any copying fees, and mailing the record.

  2. Provides administrative support such as filing, faxing, word processing, and correspondence, as needed.

  3. Maintains department specific databases, file systems, mailing lists and logs, as required.
