Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Systems Analysis Director to join our team specializing in Advanced Engineering Technology for our #NewPower Business Unit. This role is and hybrid role based in Columbus, IN or Indianapolis, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Provide technical leadership for the business's most complex global technical challenges.


• Lead New Power Business Unit (NPBU) systems analysis team.


• Provide oversight and guidance to systems analysis team to ensure appropriate application of tools and analysis processes.


• Guide analysis of fuel cell and battery electric powertrains and stationary systems to help define component requirements.


• Assess and select leading analysis tools and be a source of functional excellence for analysis for NPBU.


• Apply analysis tools to evaluate new technologies.


• Manage outsourcing of analysis work to our Research and Technology group (R&T) or other service providers.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or another related field. Post-graduate (Master's or/ and PhD) degree preferred.


• Minimum of 10 to 15 years in a similar role in a global matrix organization with minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams.


• Experience in automotive industry, commercial vehicle manufacturing, or national renewable research labs.


• Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle and industrial power technologies, (diesel, natural gas, Li battery, fuel cell, electric traction, etc.).


• Manages complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.


• Cultivates innovation - Creating new and better ways for the organization to be successful.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
