Job Located: in Randolph, UT; 2 hours northeast of Salt Lake City, UT.

Hose & Rubber Supply is a regional
company in the Rocky Mountain West with seven store locations over five states.

and fitting knowledge, large hydraulic and industrial hose and fittings inventory,
and hydraulic CNC tube bender. We pride ourselves on problem solving for our

The Accounting Department is in the
small, rural community of Randolph, UT, a friendly town located 2 hours
northeast of Salt Lake City, UT, and 25 minutes southeast of Bear Lake. Bear Lake is known as the "Caribbean of the
Rockies" for its crystal clear turquoise blue water and is a mecca for water
sport enthusiasts. Randolph, UT, is for the person wanting to get away from the
bustle of the city and enjoy a rural lifestyle.

Job
Description

You
would be responsible to work with a team to accomplish the accounts payable and
general accounting functions and objectives at our Accounting Department in
Randolph, UT. This function is responsible for processing vendor invoices
timely, producing relevant and timely financial information and analysis for management
decision-making and accountability, and complying with various entities. This
is a full-time position with benefits.

The Accountant duties may include, but
are not limited to:

Accounts Payable


  • Processing and working through issues
    on trade invoices timely to achieve trade vendor discount, expense invoices,
    and credit card expenses

  • Reviewing vendor statements and
    contacting the vendor to clear up issues or get missing invoices

  • Training employees on invoices and
    expense processes

General Accounting


  • Processing fixed assets and
    depreciation

  • Processing and submitting sales tax
    reporting

  • Producing and entering general ledger
    entries

  • Helping to prepare monthly financial
    statements

  • Reconciliation of cash deposits, credit
    card payments, and balance sheet accounts including bank statements

  • Analyzing information and producing
    managerial reports

  • Working through projects that come
    into the Accounting Department

  • Assisting with annual corporate budget,
    audits, and reviews

The job requires:


  • Proficiency in typing

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong computer and data entry skills
    - including Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Access) and an accounting
    package (such as QuickBooks, etc.)

  • Strong math skills

  • Ability to prioritize and handle
    multiple tasks timely

  • Written and verbal communication
    skills

Level of Education and Work Experience
Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or 5+
    years accounting experience

Compensation:



  • Salary: $47,000 - $73,000 salary plus
    potential for quarterly profit sharing


  • Schedule:
    Monday to Friday, 45 hours a week
