Job Summary:

Leads the Workday Services team in providing technical, analytical, system development, & system maintenance support of Workday. Delivers implementation of processes & solutions that drive efficiency for the functional areas. Collaborates with business units/leaders in requirements,

gathering & analysis, functional & technical design, report writing, security administration, testing, deployment, & post-implementation support.

Responsibilities:


  • Workday leadership for the Workday governance teams.


  • Collaborates with HCM and Finance Business Owners and Product Analysts, and the Technology Solutions Product Management & Strategy Team, to champion adoption and best practices for Workday continuous improvement efforts.


  • Manages incident and enhancement requests including prioritization, timelines, backlog, and resources.


  • Responsible for execution of semi-annual, monthly, and weekly Workday, Inc releases.


  • Collaborates with the departmental product analysts to understand and document business needs and challenges for prioritization on the ERP Services team roadmap.


  • Development, execution and administration of the annual Workday program goals and objectives which inform the Workday Strategic Roadmap and the Workday Technology Roadmap.


  • Promotes adoption of new functionality for value and productivity gains in the ERP platform.


  • Primary point of contact for Workday technical solutions including integrations, security, business process configuration, and enterprise-level report writing.


  • Ownership of vendor relationships and networking engagements such as user group meetings and Workday customer enablement services.


  • Ownership of cross-functional Workday modules including security, integrations, and system set-up tasks.


  • Management of 3rd level Workday support for all business areas.  Ability to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related issues or provide recommendations for resolution of issues involving business processes, integrations, and systems.


  • System administration, configuration, and collaboration with resources to accomplish required activities to include the management of current integrations as well as the development and implementation of future integrations.


  • Leads ideation of technical solutions to gain process efficiency and improve data integrity.


  • Supports mass change data imports using Workday EIB’s for all functional areas of Workday.


  • Provides security administration support for all business areas including researching & resolving issues with role-based assignments and creating custom security groups to enable business process and reporting access to cross-functional users. Leads design, configuration, workflow, testing, training, auditing, implementation, and administration of Workday basic and advanced security.


  • Performs security impact analysis for change requests and Workday, Inc release upgrades.


  • Recommends best security practices and solutions to support end-to-end business processes and reporting requirements.


  • Maintains data integrity and security of the Workday system by running periodic audit reports, analyzing system usage metrics, and maintaining role and user-based security groups, reviewing, and revising Workday system security policies and security groups.


  • Creates, modifies, & supports a variety of enterprise-level standard and advanced reports utilizing appropriate reporting tools.


  • Prepares regularly scheduled reports and ad-hoc reporting as needed.


  • Provides report writers with guidance, instructions, or documentation.


  • Ensures accuracy of data through routine data audits & validation.


  • Supervises and enables the Workday Services team including coaching, career development, goal setting, mentoring and performance evaluation.


  • Develops and executes a training program for the team members to improve and expand proficiency to support the Workday product as new functionalities are released.


Requirements:


  • 2-5 years of Workday Systems experience including HCM, Security, Integrations, and/ Reporting.  


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Business, or MIS preferred.


  • Licenses or Certifications-Workday Pro Certifications in one or more of the following modules: Integrations, Workday Studio, Report Writing , Security Administration.


  • Strong critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, technical skills, and communication skills required.


  • Previous experience leading implementations of cross-functional solutions, which include Human Capital Management and Finance.


  • Experience in Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll or Finance functions and data management are a plus. 


  • Prior supervisory or project management experience preferred.


  • Requires experience supporting Workday configuration, design, and implementation in two or more (preferably five or more) of the following functional areas: Integrations/Workday Studio, Security Administration, Report Writing, HCM, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Performance, Payroll, Finance.
