Senior Front End Engineer at Two Six Labs in Austin, Texas

Job Description:

The Two Six Technologies Cyber and Electronics team is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer. Our team values creativity, initiative, and collaboration. Responsibilities Include:

• Fully implement new, robust product features, from concept to delivery, including feedback and revision from both QA and the customer
• Evaluate user stories and acceptance criteria to validate UI/UX design work and influence story or acceptance criteria to get stronger development solutions
• Work closely with the design team to help enhance the usability
• Stay current on new technologies as they relate to web-based application development and user interface design
• Participate in code reviews and internal team scrums
• Maintain library of design patterns, error messages, style guides, research findings, and UI/UX best practices to drive consistency across the platform and UI/UX team

• Minimum 8 years experience with JavaScript (ES6/ES7), SQL, CSS, and HTML
• Minimum of 5 years experience building UI/UX
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or additional 8 years of work experience

• Visual design skills, including an understanding of layout, color, composition, and data visualization principles
• General understanding of networking concepts
• Experience with a modern front-end framework (Ember, Vue, React, Angular, etc)
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with graph and time-series databases
• Experience with any of the following: Java, Python, C/C+
• Willing to travel
• TS Clearance w/ SCI Eligibility

• US Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain Secret Clearance
