Job Description:

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented Housing Program Resident Site Manager to join our team! The Housing Program Resident Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the administrative functions and program participants residing in Goodwill program housing. This position will work closely with the Housing Program team to assist individuals seeking assistance with housing opportunities and supportive services to promote participants self-sufficiency, integration into the community, and permanency in housing. Essential Duties and Tasks:



  • Respond to property and participants emergencies; submit maintenance request to property manager.

  • Works closely with Housing Program Manager, Housing Specialist, and other support staff to ensure removal of participant barriers to housing.

  • Maintain current and accurate data in the assigned database system; run reports as needed.

  • Communicates with and serves as a liaison between participants and Housing Specialist including monitoring emails and scheduling appointments.

  • Conduct regular site visits and housing meeting to ensure property cleanliness, safety, and compliance of house agreement(s).

  • Lead all administrative functions including distribution of correspondence, scheduling and facilitation of participant move in/out of site.

  • Administer randomly drug test as instructed by Housing Specialist or Program Manager.

  • Assist with monitoring housing cameras; and reporting of illegal or suspicious activities.

  • Assist with answering telephone calls and meet with visitors or walk ins when they come into the Resource Center regarding the Housing Program.

  • Develop partnerships within the community.


  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 


Education and Experience:



  • High school Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum three years of experience in workforce development/social services environments, such as a workforce development program and/or community rehabilitation program, providing services to individuals with disabilities and/or other disadvantages, preferred

  • Must possess versatility, discretion, and good interpersonal skills with ability to work with a variety of diverse people, providing excellent customer service.

  • Must reside at the assigned housing site.

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

 


Physical Demands:



  • This job may have physical requirements that considered sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity and occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.

  • Travel across the state and to other locations beyond the assigned work location is occasionally required.
