POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Content Studio Lead within Cigna Creative, Cigna's in-house agency, the Video Producer works across agency business units and the enterprise to provide consultation on video production best practices for video projects, manage video production on assigned projects, and oversee video production resources both in-house and external. Assist in the execution of strategic business and proposal development including cost estimates, as it relates to video production. The role requires clear and persuasive points of view (verbally and in written form) in client creative presentations, proposals, and more.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Partner with Creative Directors, Copywriters, agency team, other members of the Content Studio and external vendors to build and manage realistic and actionable production plans that meet client goals


• Understand the big picture and "connect the dots" creatively, and logistically, to deliver videos on-time and on-budget


• Lead conversations with partners by asking the right questions, getting to the heart of project and making sure all considerations are made


• Co-lead, client-facing meetings and presentations to persuasively sell ideas


• Participate/collaborate in building strategic proposals/recommendations for clients


• Keep current on new trends in video production and best practice


• Maintain and grow strong vendor partnerships


• Identify gaps in vendor needs and partner with Cigna's sourcing group to identify and onboard new vendor partners

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 4-year degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred


• 6-8 years of marketing experience with at least 5 years in video production


• Strong problem-solving abilities at all levels


• Goal-oriented and personally accountable; resourceful and self-directed


• Adaptable and flexible; open minded, innovative and creative


• Strong organizational and analytical skills, effective oral and written communications skills required


• Proven consultative, persuasive/sales skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds and flex as priorities change


• Willingness to travel (when we're able to safely)


• Extra credit for experience producing still shoots and podcasts as well


• A firm belief in the motto "Fix it in Pre!"


• This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
