This is a pivotal role working with stakeholders across the entire company supporting the delivery of great customer experiences, streamlining and modernizing processes, and ensuring we use data to our advantage to help teams improve. As such, this role will be key in rallying the product teams towards embracing a continuous improvement mindset in their agile journey as well as championing empirical decision making throughout the organization.

Inside the Job

Your day-to-day work will involve:
























  • Be a servant leader for 2-3 product teams of varying maturity.




  • Assess maturity level of the product teams you're a servant leader for, and coach them in developing continuous improvement roadmaps.




  • Champion the use of empiricism throughout the delivery cycle (including retrospectives).




  • Be the model for the Continuous Improvement mindset.




  • Act as the center for delivery rhythm and facilitating the ceremonies of Scrum.




  • Collaborate with other scrum masters and agilists in Herman Miller Group to establish best practices.



  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

What You Bring

Needed skills and experience for this role include:


  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2 years demonstrated experience as a scrum master required.

  • 2 years demonstrated experience with continuous delivery models/frameworks strongly preferred.

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, etc.) preferred.







































  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of core agile delivery metrics.




  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional presentation and facilitative skills.

  • Assertive: Ensure agile & scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls.
