Job Description:

Priority Function/Accountability



SPECIFIC

  • Install, program, and maintain all electrical/mechanical equipment in a safe and operable condition
  • Maintaining a safe work environment
  • Working effectively as a team player and leader in achieving plant goals
  • Maintaining and improving facility and production capacity
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance procedures utilizing computerized maintenance management system
  • Tracking and controlling maintenance inventory
  • Continuous improvement activities for all assets
  • Achieving maintenance and facility goals
  • Must be able to perform PM on all plant equipment mechanical and electrical
  • Able to safely operate all powered, hand tools and moving equipment (including, but not limited to, forklift and crane) and able to set up appropriate tools in the department with use of these equipment
  • Other tasks as required by Maintenance Coordinator
  • Additional responsibilities as required - this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change

Academic and Experience



Education



Required

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Must pass PLC aptitude test
  • Must pass Maintenance E.T. test - 75% score

Experience



Required

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in maintenance E.T. in a manufacturing environment
  • Participation in a significant role on the MOS, either deploying a practice, training in a tool or methodology, leading problem solving or other applied leadership experience.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient computer skills/Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point)
  • Must have a thorough understanding of electrical technology
  • Must understand AC/DC control circuits, ladder logic, schematic diagrams, software, programmable controllers, programming, and robotics
  • Lockout / Tagout training
  • Quality Management System

  • Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability Management Fundamentals.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or touch, forward bend, forward sit, forward stand, pull, sit, and climb stairs/ladders
  • The employee is frequently required to stand, reach, grip, walk, twist, push, pinch, crouch/squat, and crawl and reach with hands and arms and perform repetitive motion activities such as hand/wrist, forearm/elbow, and shoulder
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to visually focus.
