TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Associate Superintendent - Repair inPhiladelphia, PA.

Essential duties and responsibilities:


  • Support 3-5 routes as an Associate Operations Superintendent

  • Visits job sites and observe quality audits to insure that route work is being completed efficiently and in a cost effective manner

  • Coordinate with mechanics and Operations on what materials need to be ordered for service, repairs, and orders parts

  • Uses accounting reports to review call backs. Includes providing feedback, data and reports to management

  • Takes part and assists with safety training, including job site safety audits and inventory/ordering of safety supplies

  • Provides technical input to sales staff on the scope of work and materials needed to bid repair work

  • Provides feedback to service manager prior to field evaluations and performance ratings

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all federal, state and local elevator industry code requirements

  • Maintains strong familiarity of company products by attending company training classes, and reviewing factory equipment updates and supplier goods. Includes working with regional field trainers

  • Performs other duties as may be assigned


Who we are looking for

  • Thorough knowledge of the construction industry and general management skills; or general business knowledge normally acquired though a Bachelor's degree; or two years experience managing on a branch departmental level; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to write reports, contract proposals and business correspondence

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and customers

  • Ability to define problems collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

  • Compensation 50,000-66,700
