PURPOSE OF JOB


An Autobagger is primarily responsible for utilization of such equipment as: the Automatic Bag Placer, Automatic Palletizer, including the stretch-wrap machine, Dense Phase 4, and Fuller Kinyon procedures. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The essential duties and responsibilities of an Autobagger Includes:



  • Possesses knowledge of product sampling plans

  • Programs the in-line bag printer.

  • Operates a stretch-wrap machine

  • Completes all quality control charts

  • Preventing contamination of feed products with activated adsorbents and catalysts

  • Completes all down time tracking forms

  • Operates a fork truck

  • Keeps work area clear and clean of all trash, debris and excess clay spillage

  • Possesses a thorough understanding both of job related safety hazards, safe lifting techniques and operating procedures of the forklift and properly fill out safety inspections for forklifts as per Mobile Equipment Inspection Form.

  • Follows all applicable procedures and work instructions to assure feed products, adsorbents and catalysts are manufactured to meet customer specifications.

  • Responsible to meet site safety requirements and quality and food/feed safety requirements

  • Other similar duties, as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


 Must have basic reading and writing skills (English) along with basic mathematical computation abilities



  • Successful bidders must meet basic skills minimum requirements pursuant to Article V Paragraph 7 of the agreement. On the job training for 30 days per union contract book.

  • Must be able to pass basic skills job specific test. MSHA Part 46 (24 hrs) training before starting position on safety and site-specific hazards.

  • Must be able to operate a fork lift

  • Must be trained on all ISO 9002 procedures.

  • Must be able to troubleshoot

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:



  • Must maintain a valid Mississippi driver's license

  • Must have current forklift license
