Environmental Compliance Specialist at EnSafe in Ridgeland, Mississippi

Job Description:

EnSafe Inc. is an employee-owned, global professional services firm. We strive to provide cutting-edge, creative solutions for our clients. We are looking for an Environmental Compliance Specialist for our Jackson, MS office.

There are no typical days at EnSafe, so you may go from doing fieldwork, to compiling data and preparing reports, oversight of projects, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive action is taken to address non-conformance at client sites, to assisting with labor/material estimates and proposals. If you are the successful candidate, you will provide client and project management, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive project work associated with environmental regulatory compliance and permitting. Experience in one or more of the following is desirable:

• EPCRA 312 (Tier II) and 313 (Form R) reporting


• Hazardous waste requirements


• SPCC requirements


• Storm water/wastewater permitting


• Air emission source permitting


• Compliance auditing

We require a minimum of a BS in science or engineering with at least two years' experience, preferably in environmental consulting, industry, or as a regulator. Strong consulting and problem solving skills, and experience in the field are required.
