Application Developer 3 / Sr Data Warehouse Developer
Major Responsibilities
Design, develop, implement, and support data collection and acquisition processes in conjunction with the data warehouse.
Source data from ERP and legacy application systems supporting a hybrid on-premise and cloud Data Warehouse platform.
Engage with business users and team members to gather, define, and document requirements.
Thoroughly document requirements through functional and technical specification documents.
Design and develop Extract Transform and Load (ETL) and (ELT) processes using Informatica Power Center and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to support various data marts, staging areas, and data warehouse structures.
Responsible for creating and building complex data extraction queries from various databases.
Perform data modeling, data profiling, database design and metadata management.
Build, support and maintain data warehouse processes to ensure reliable and efficient application performance of reporting and end user ad hoc solutions.
Implement Data Warehouse solutions across all functional business areas.
Responsible for providing, maintaining, and updating data integration solutions.
Perform tuning activities for various data warehouse processing.
Perform software testing and quality assurance.
Responsible for full software development lifecycle.
Perform all phases of software design, development, documentation, and implementation.
Prepare documentation to assist in problem analysis and provide solution recommendations.
Prepare program specifications, diagrams, and logic flowcharts.
Develop effective test strategies and approaches to ensure quality systems.
Develop, plan, and execute detailed unit and system testing and quality assurance.
Operational Support of applications inclusive of on call off hour support.

Require Skills/Knowledge
Thorough understanding of business intelligence and data warehousing concepts
Proven ability working with Integration tools (Informatica Power Center, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services)
Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake)
Expert knowledge in SQL programming.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written)
Ability to interact with users at all levels and areas of the organization.
Ability to facilitate requirements gathering workshops with multiple business and technical users.
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to multi-task across multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Ability to design and build high quality, structured solutions from high-level, minimally defined requirements.
Solid experience in delivering Data Warehouse solutions

Solid understanding of and experience working in agile and standard waterfall SDLC methodologies.
Experience using source control tools to manage development objects.

Experience with Cloud Data Warehouse solutions (Snowflake, Azure, AWS, etc.)
Experience with Data Modelling and Profiling tools
Experience with Data Management tools
Knowledge or experience in Big Data and Data Lake solutions
Experience working with Python technologies.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline required
5+ years’ experience building data warehousing solutions
5+ years’ experience using Microsoft Integration Services
5+ years’ experience using Informatica Power Center
