We are looking for a full-time Product Manager to join our Aviation Services team in our Chanhassen, Minnesota location. In this role, you will help lead the development of exciting new products and services within our FltPlan.com and flyGarmin.com web and mobile applications. We’re looking for an aviation professional with experience in coordinating the development of software-as-a-service (SAAS) solutions that our end users will use and purchase. Desirable candidates will have aviation-related experience in web-based flight planning and/or aviation mobile applications for general, business or commercial aviation

Essential Functions:

• Develop product road map for new software including requirements, features, product ecosystem strategy and product lifecycle strategy


• Develop thorough market, customer and competitive analysis as inputs to the products and services design process


• Work closely with Engineering, Sales and Marketing to develop product roadmaps that satisfy the objectives of the segment business plan


• Collaborate with product marketing to effectively introduce software products, coordinate advertising, participate in trade shows and other key activities during the life cycle of the products


• Attend industry tradeshows, customer meetings and other events as required

Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related engineering or marketing field AND a minimum of two years work experience in a product development, marketing or analytical role.

  Ability to travel up to 20%

  
  

Desirable Qualifications:

• Pilots or candidates with aviation experience are highly preferred
