Summary:     


The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the designated region. This will be achieved through the development of local recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Human Resources Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.


Responsibilities:



  1. Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.

  2. Develop and execute recruiting plans.

  3. Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.

  4. Assist in development and facilitation of facility recruiting programs to include: leading the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position; efficiently and effectively filling open positions; and, conducting regular follow-up with managers to determine program effectiveness.

  5. Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.

  6. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

  7. Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.

  8. Post openings in OTIS, on-line search engines, with professional organizations, magazines, and in other position appropriate venues.

  9. Utilize the Internet for recruitment including but not limited to: Post positions to appropriate Internet sources; improve the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting, research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment, utilize social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.

  10. Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.

  11. Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:


This position requires:



  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.

  • The ability to communicate and interface with many corporate and employee levels.

  • The ability to read and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

  • The ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.

  • Must possess working knowledge of state and federal labor laws.

  • The ability to apply strict confidentiality rules to daily workload.

Organizational Relationship:


Consults and coordinates with Facility and Corporate Management to provide assistance regarding employment recruiting policies and procedures. 


Application:


Proficiency in Windows applications: Word, Excel, HR Office and Org Plus.


Proficiency in utilizing an applicant tracking system. 


Work Environment:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. 


Physical Demands:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.  Frequent travel is required.


Minimum Requirements:


Must possess a minimum of 4 years of progressive Human Resource Management or recruiting experience.  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is required; or equivalent combination of both experience and education. Incumbent must be of excellent moral character to serve as a role model.
