We are looking for a talented Multidisciplinary Optimization Tool Specialist, Computer Framework  to join our team specializing in Engineering Corporate Business Unit/CBS Business Segment in this hybrid location role.   

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Technical Function Processes and Tools - Executes, improves, trains, coaches and/or manages the Technical processes and tools including standards and best practices that enables knowledge to be re-used and functional deliverables to be met in a quality and productive manner.


• Solution Assessment and Validation - Assesses the proposed solution using the requirements traceability through the life cycle of the requirements to determine if they deliver the desired business outcome.


• Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.


• Requirements Elicitation - Discovers and documents functional and non-functional requirements using the Business Analysis Toolkit (modeling the five aspects and creating use cases) to effectively communicate the business needs and solution characteristics for solution design.


• Troubleshooting - Diagnoses and resolves the customer-identified issue by utilizing appropriate department standards to satisfy customer expectations.


• Optimizes work processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  
   

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Three (3) to five (5) years of prior Senior or Lead Engineer experience working directly with cross functional teams.


• Demonstrated track record of solving technical problems, which involves: 


• Documenting the current architecture


• Working with stakeholders to define future framework requirements


• Designing and documenting the future architecture


• Assist with the definition of technical requirements for and the support of Cummins Supercomputing systems

• College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
