At GXO Logistics, we believe that good leaders are critical to our success.As the Senior Manager - FX and Capital Markets, Treasury you will lead planning and execution of the company's financial risk management (foreign exchange and interest rate hedging), capital structure and liquidity, operating lease portfolio. You will work closely with cash management, FP&A, accounting, and our banking partners to ensure that GXO's capital markets objectives are met. What you'll do on a typical day:


  • Lead the company's FX and interest rate hedging programs including: development and implementation of FX and interest rate hedging strategy; monitoring and reporting on net exposures; monitoring market research related to macro-economic, central bank policy, and other market driving trends; partnering with banks to evaluate strategies and track market developments

  • Manage the company's capital structure to include: creating and maintaining financial models to forecast debt, interest expense, leverage and rating agency adjustments to all metrics; execution of new financing transactions; executing new and managing existing equipment leases, letters of credit, and other credit facilities

  • Prepare reporting and calculations for liquidity, debt, cost of capital, derivatives portfolio, FX, counterparty exposures, settlements, etc. Provide support for debt and derivatives financial disclosures

  • Participate in the company's defined benefit and defined contribution retirement planning including participation in governance committees and plan oversight with asset managers, investment consultants, actuaries, custodians, other advisors

  • Develop and implement treasury operations best practices and help identify areas of improvement/provide recommendations to management committee meeting materials and perform administrative activities


What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 5 years related industry experience in corporate finance, accounting, or banking

  • Experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced proficiency with Excel VBA macros.

It'd be great if you also have:

  • MBA

  • 3+ years related experience post-MBA

  • Knowledge of Bloomberg, treasury systems, financial derivatives, hedge accounting, VBA

  • Prioritizes regular tasks, special tasks and concurrent projects, allocating time and resources to ensure that work is completed accurately and efficiently within established time frame

  • Identifies opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources and develops/recommends/implements solutions
