A very fulfilling opportunity has recently been opened for a Director of Inpatient Nursing Services at a small facility in Eastern Kansas. This is a great opportunity to be a leader within a collaborative hospital.

This Long Term Acute Care Facility is extremely close knit. The team of educated staff members provide care to the delicate community. This facility provides inpatient and outpatient services and non-skilled long term care services. The Director of Nursing Services will see LTC residents, a good amount of patients per day, and a nursing staff of RNs, CNAs, with a mixture of RMC staff and travelers.

Reporting Directly to the CNO, The Director of Nursing services will make sure that the close knit staff will collaborate within the Nursing Department and ensure that day to day operations run smoothly. The Nurse Director will provide insight leadership of the committee through innovative thinking, strong leadership, and tender loving care.

The Director of Nursing Services will have to wear a lot of hats in this hospital. The Nurse Director will play a huge role in ensuring that fiscally, administratively, and operationally the facility functions properly. This will even include having to get involved on the floor and assist the staff on rare occasions.

This small community region of Eastern Kansas is an outdoor lover’s paradise with hiking, biking, and fishing galore. This is a great place for a Nurse Director to really find peace within nature.
